YALDI TERMS AND CONDITIONS
This website is operated by Yaldi Sweets under partnership by Alan Peacock and Lynne Peacock of LA Catering of 89 Causewayside street, Glasgow, G32 8LT. Yaldi Sweets is a trading name of LA catering. LA Catering owns and operates www.yaldisweets.com. The terms “we”, “us” or “supplier” refers to Yaldi Sweets and LA Catering.
These terms and conditions apply to all sales agreed by the supplier and the buyer and shall prevail over any other documentation or communication from the buyer.
If you do not agree to these terms and conditions, then you may not use the website. By using our website and agreeing to purchase goods by e-mail, using our online shop or phone conversation you are bound by these conditions as laid out in the agreement. By accepting delivery of goods, you are concluding the sale and acceptance of these terms and conditions. Therefore, all funds are payable in full according to these terms and conditions.
PLACING AN ORDER
Our web site should assist you in placing your order. It will guide you through the steps easily and systematically. Our order process allows you to check and amend any errors before submitting your order to us. Please ensure you take the time to check your order on each page of the order process.
Once you have placed your items in the shopping basket, you should confirm your order and proceed to enter your payment details. We will then send you an email acknowledging that we have received your order, which will detail the products you have ordered. Please note that this does not mean that your order has been accepted by us yet. The Contract between us will only be confirmed when we send you the Dispatch Confirmation.
If in unforeseen circumstances, we are unable to provide you with a dispatch confirmation our acceptance of an order will take place when we post your products and they are received by you.
If we are unable to accept your order, we will inform you by email. If you have already paid for your order, we will refund you the full amount including any delivery costs charged as soon as is reasonably possible. This may be because your product is out of stock/no longer available or we cannot meet your requested delivery date. If there are two or more products in your order and one or more of those products is delivered, we will not be able to refund the delivery charge.
All orders placed between Monday – Friday before noon will be dispatched the same day.
All orders placed after noon will be dispatched the next working day.
Sunday and Bank Holiday orders will be dispatched the next working day.
Please note that all orders require a signature on delivery, we will gladly deliver to a work place.
Please ensure someone is available to sign for the parcel if the delivery is going to your home address.
Once the goods have left us we are unable to change the delivery address.
Please check your goods immediately upon receipt and notify us immediately by telephone if the goods are damaged or are not accurate to the order purchase. If you fail to do so, you shall be deemed to have accepted the goods.
The cost of returning the goods to us must be paid by you unless we agree that the goods are faulty or damaged upon receipt by you.
All prices listed on the website are correct at the time of publication however we reserve the right to alter these in the future. Prices are inclusive of VAT but exclusive of delivery charges which will be added to your order. This cost is dependent on the time/day of order.
Please note all payment of goods including delivery charge will be made in full prior to goods being delivered. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Switch, Solo, Maestro and Delta payment cards.
We have taken all reasonable steps to prevent internet fraud and ensure any data collected from you is stored as securely and safely as possible. However, we cannot be held liable in the extremely unlikely event of a breach in our secure computer servers or those of third parties.
We do not receive or store your credit card details, only the confirmation that the transaction has been made. We use ‘stripe’, a market leading payment service to process card payments. Stripe has been audited by a PCI-certified auditor and is certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1. This is the most stringent level of certification available in the payments industry. To accomplish this, they make use of best-in-class security tools and practices to maintain a high level of security.
You are entitled to cancel your order without reason within 14 days. In this case, you will receive a full refund of the price paid for the goods. We are unable to refund delivery charges for cancellations or returns.
If you would like to cancel an order, please inform us by email and return the products at your own cost. You have a legal obligation to take reasonable care of the goods while they are with you and to ensure that they are kept in a resalable condition. If you fail to comply with this obligation, we may have a right of action against you for compensation. A refund will only be given once we have received the goods and deemed them to be in resalable condition. We are unable to accept cancellations for our personalised gift options or if the goods have been fully opened.
Delays due to adverse weather conditions, postal strikes, acts of god, or terrorism are beyond our control and as such we cannot guarantee delivery by a certain date due to the nature of these acts, nor are we liable for costs incurred due to delay.
We do not accept any liability for any delays, failures, errors or omissions or loss of transmitted information, viruses or other contamination or destructive properties transmitted to you or your computer system via our website.
WEIGHTS & MEASURES
We will take every care to ensure the weights of our products match the weights stated on our website. However, due to the nature of the ingredients we use we may not be able to provide the exact weight stated but will endeavour to do so within a reasonable weight.
Please note that we do reserve the right to amend any gift message that we believe may offend the recipient.
We will contact you before any amendment is made. We accept no responsibility for any offence or harm caused by any recipient from personalised messages on or included with our items.
Under new legislation from December 2014. We are under obligation to be able to provide information regarding the allergen content within any items. Please note that all allergens are listed on our website and we would ask that you check these prior to purchase. We will also include a list of these along with each product, it may be on the back or included in the packaging.
We do store nuts on our premises, so all orders are supplied on the understanding that they may contain traces of nuts.
Given the nature of the products we supply, many of them may contain E numbers and high amounts of sugar.
However, our products are intended to be a special treat/gift and not part of an everyday diet. We would advise that E numbers may have
an adverse effect on activity and attention in children and should be enjoyed responsibility.
We do not store credit card or debit card details, nor do we share customer details with any 3rd parties.
CHANGES TO TERMS AND CONDITIONS
We are entitled to alter the Terms and Conditions at any time, but this right shall not affect the existing terms and conditions accepted by the buyer upon making a purchase.
